Yeah I saw the steep hill to the left. I was nearly going to give it a shot but someone came past and went the right way so I dutifully followed. I did all the harder sections, but still don't remember any hills that stood out more than any others.

Doesn't matter, what I did do was great fun and that's all that counts.

Once again, the VTR Club have excelled themselves with a well organised, great week end of fun & socialising.  The property had everything you could want  in the making of an awesome trail ride, from single lane to fast trails, hills, rocks & slippery bits, whether you went the blue or the red arrows.  The loop was clearly marked, making it easy to follow thanks to the Bills, Dennis, Allan, Ekka & of course Mick.  As always top social night on Friday, followed by perfect riding weather Saturday, holding off until the raffle was over.  Sunday a little damper.

It was good to see some more new faces who have decided to join in on the fun, it's addictive!

Now, we wait in anticipation for the next one.

Good to see lots of old Heaven members attend these rides. Riders that are over the competition, the pressure, the flagging, the politics, riders that just want to ride their old bikes with no bullshit cheating rules getting in the way. Riders like Kel and Narelle, Brett and Marjolaine and plenty more.  Good on you'se.

From what I understand, this club, under Dennis, Greg and Mick's guidance has quadrupled its membership in less than 12 months. Anybody in business would love those figures. These guys have found the perfect formula for having no stress fun. M.A. are looking at our club very closely and are extremely happy and behind us 100%.

Congratulations to each and every member for playing your part and getting vTr off and running so strongly. Great effort guys and gals.

Wow what a ride!

Saturday was just awsome riding weather, I found the temp was just right for taking on the taxing hard options. In fact the day was so good for riding that it more than made up for what blew in on Sunday.

I must admit that the image I had built up of the track leading up to this event was way off. Where I was expecting mostly cranky rock it was nice and loamy, with sweeping climbs and descents, rolling ups and downs along creek beds, muddy holes, and nice spots to find the top of the box with some well warned choke points along the way, straddling ridges and cuting up and down through scrubby gullies. A long loop that was quite time consuming to get around.

Enough thanks cant go to Bill, Al', Ecka, Bill and landowner Mick, this track was absolutely awsome and I honestly cant wait to get back to this venue again.
 
The wonderful class of tracks produced this year are a tribute to the selfless hard work and true experience of our VTR members who have put in so much effort each weekend to carve out the brilliant quality of courses that we have been so fortunate to ride, we have been to so many different places and areas all with so different and individual terrains this year. Its been great.

Brian , the biggest thanks we get is seeing big smiles on all the vtr members after riding the loops . It was lucky we weren't at nimmitbel for this round ,I spoke to Pete the land owner down there very heavy snow Sunday morning

Dallas was hasseling us where all the snow was as soon as we mentioned it, would have been a sight to see at Nimitabell.
