The idea is that it will be my VTR bike, and can be leant out to mates as a Vinduro/modern trail bike.
I have a set of IT 43mm triples, and a Honda cartridge front end for it - so the front is only a set of springs away from being sorted.
Rear, I'm going to see if I can use the XT250 body (steel with 46mm ID), and add an external reservoir, the TT shaft, and some sort of more modern valve piston. If that doesn't work, I'll think again.
