YSS shocks

I have seen YSS suspension in a few pics of vintage bike builds here but in the US they are nearly non existent . (although thier Main US office is 30 minutes from me).
How are thier shocks and them as a company? Race Tech, Ohins, Works Performance are all proven names.. Eventually ill be needing a shock for my 83 KX. I am starting to think about a replacement
