Last year with checking the bikes even the one's with full rego , will that happen again with full regoed bikes ?

All bikes will be scrutineered. This will mostly be to check for overall safety issues; such as broken off levers, throttles that don't return, stuffed wheel bearings, etc. If a bike is plainly unroadworthy it will be pulled up. All riders are expected to have their bikes in a roadworthy condition that is compliant with the conditions of their registration/permit. This responsibility falls squarely with the rider.

Likewise, all riders are subject to the applicable Victorian road rules when travelling on public roads.

thanks, I knew it was on VERI list, but wasn't sure if there may have been different criteria for the Harrow event, my bike is 1990, and is identical to my sons '85 and '86 models except for stickers, and mine has side stand kill switch

Your DT should be fine as per VERi guidelines, CanAm370 can confirm, so send him a PM.

I haven't seen a 'mail-out' as yet.  Did I miss something?

Forms were sent to VERi members first. Wider mail out has occured tonight, and the forms will be on the VERi website tomorrow.

I have a non Japanese bike (I'm too ashamed to say what it is), and I am worried about taking this fragile hand grenade to Harrow. Do you think I should bring it?

You're a good bloke Curtis - we'll be able to follow the trail of parts and smoke and not have to look for the arrows! And then after that first 100 metres we'll be past you and all warmed up and can start riding properly.
