Gents - how much oil to refill a 1980 Honda CR250 gearbox please - just after an oil change not a totally dry refill?

If it's any help  Rossco not 80 but my 79 250 manual says 500ml for an oil change or 700ml dry, There is a check bolt just in front of the sprocket :)
