1982 Husqvarna CR250
« on: April 20, 2015, 11:27:54 am »
The 1982 Husky CR250 I rode at the nationals is now up for sale as I have enough time before the next VMX meeting to finish the bike I originally planned to ride (CR390). The bike will be as raced other than the wheels, forks & Shocks (they belong to the other bike), but will have to correct wheels with new tyres, correct 40mm CR forks, correct rebuilt Ohlins shocks & fresh green race backgrounds fitted. It has upright bar mounts fitted for more precise steering with Renthal twin wall handlebars but this can be changed back to standard if you wish. The bike is painted in the Billy Grossi USA factory Belray colors. It is fast, reliable, handles excellent & is a treat to look at. $4,000 for a race ready machine. I may trade something of interest. Ph: 0417394889 or email [email protected] for further details & or photo's.

Hello K..just interested to know.. do you think the WR rear brake setup is better than the full floating CR setup..??

To be honest, I can't tell any difference, maybe someone chasing 1/2 a second a lap might. It's just that these wheels are out of an XC & I wanted to use an 18" rear & twin leading front. The standard floating set up looks neater.

Ahh, another bike heading for semi retirement. Someone will be lucky enough to find it for sale in a decade or so.....
