KX80 motors.

Both motors are late-80s/early 90s - doesn't matter much.

One complete, has ignition, carb, sprocket cover, etc. No shafts welded. Rod seems good, bore damaged.

Second motor in bits, has beautiful crank, good bore (good piston too, IIRC). Pretty sure it's missing clutch and a few other bits.

Located Yass NSW, am happy to post, may be able to deliver cheaply to Melbourne.

$250ono gets you both.

I might be interested, trying convince the young fella to get a KX80.

But he seems stuck on the idea of a RM80, mainly because its the same colour as Bumblebee (from Transformers) ::)
