In the short three years i've been in the scene i too have had my share of rip offs and good deals. Guys i've met that are champions and arseholes. Dont you get that in life in general?
I like to think im a fairly honest/straight up guy,but i have been in a position just recently on a bike i sold which turned out to be a bit of a shitbox. i bought it for what i thought was a fair price and sold it on to a forum member for a top of the market type price as the bike looked to be in good condition (to make a few bucks). It turned into a bit of a nightmare.
That is a problem when you are buying/ selling 30 odd year old bikes. Alot of the time there are problems that are unseen.

What have I done!!!

I never intended to knock the scab off any festering forum wounds ::) :-[.

I must say I've meet Freaky and had an enjoyable short meeting with him and found him open friendly and enthusiastic about his sport. I've also meet Adam and done a deal with him, and I found him honest, open, friendly and generous to a fault.

I don't know how its happened but I would say you guys have got your wires crossed somehow.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

So Freaky, if it was double the postage cost, just exactly how much are we talking here?

Double.  >:(

Anyway - On a brighter note  ;D    i just sent a guy in the USA an offer for his Works shocks and PVL he listed as new on a DT 250 desert racer he was selling, it wasnt selling so i offered him $400 if he wanted to part with them and cut the price of his bike down to sell. NO bids and he emails yes, send him $400 smackers and a week later im starting to get worried, real worried he has taken all my money, the goods where as he said ( although no pics) and as it was only by emails there was no comback ( even if paypal or ebay would do shit) it all happened in 3 off market emails, big risk but something said go for it.

Anyhow Today i get a parcel in the mail.  Open it up a near brand new set of work nitro shocks, and a full PVL kit ,spacer, coils etc in the original box with instructions and puller.  I Felt like a 5yr old at xmas, this bloke had not only followed through but gone out of his way to pack and even find the original box and penton instructions.   This stuff may have less than 4-5 rides onit,  its immaculate.  Postage cost him $65, what did he charge me $0   :o

there are still some prity special folks out there, sometimes a lot of trust is rewarded.      I just sent him a email thanking him and praising him on his integrety and honour from half was round the world.

Its a pity it wasnt an Ebay transact as i would be leaving this guy the best Feedback.   mmm  good karma.  :P

A  percentage of vmxer's may experience hormonal fluctuations or imbalances that are related to VMX.

VMX25 plus tablets/suppositories are scientifically formulated natural supplement especially for vmxer's, to  assist in the relief of symptoms associated with hormonal fluctuation or imbalances linked to VMX, being in there 25’s and progressing through to other activities and older ages.
The imbalances or fluctuations may occur through a range of areas including: ebay transactions, clouded judgement, rampant ego,drug/alcohol habits, excessive speed, tool handling problems as well as diet and monthly committee meetings.
Recommended dosage of no more than two tablets in 24 hrs.
Warning excessive use , can result in dribbling, lost of VMX fellow riders, weaving motion, yellowing of the skin and eyes, dark urine, nausea, stomach and anal pain.

See you local doctor/forum police/moderater if pain or conflict still exists.
Best is in the West !!
