I have run one of these hpi ignitions on my yz250g for about 3years ciscos originaly did mine I think they did the timing curves as well
it did pick up a couple horsepower over stock ignition  on dyno but in real world conditions the bigger horsepower curve isn't that easy to ride on tight motorcross track so I run the other curve that's in my box I don't know if they used the curves posted they told me they did there own I am going to buy the program to play around with timing curve because I think there is more to play with to smooth out power delivery but overall the actual unit has been reliable

OK.  Here's the HPI curve for the ignition for the model they suggest.

Just looking to compare with the original.  I found one for a 465 but obviously quite different.

Get them to supply a few extra pistons for the holes you will put in them with that curve. Especialy on that curve 2. Looks like a amature guess/stab in the dark. Will run good down low then come to an abrupt brickwall around 7000 then hole a piston if you keep reving it

Gee ever helpfull again.
I realy get a good laugh form your posts. Makes you wonder how 2 strokes ever ran with a pionts system without curves.

sigh rolleyes facepalm
Jesus only loves two strokes

Thanks for the feedback Peter.

I'll keep researching and put what I find up on here.

Cheers
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.
