How clean is your shed ?
« on: March 23, 2015, 11:23:17 pm »
G'day  Viewers just wondering if everyone else struggles with a messy shed. I'll clean up but with in a week it's back to tripping over crap again. I have every intention of being more productive but it never happens. Jimson

Im sure its someone else who messes up my workshop.
I put all the tools away and stick my parts back in the plastic boxes and back on the storage shelves  and sweep and hose it all out after a degrease and then the Gf asks me to fix something and i turn around and Im in a brothel again.
Actually brothel is an apt word, everything cost me heaps in there and its usually F%$#@&ed.

It's all relative to what stage of a project I'm up too. The tear down stage usually finds the shed a shitfight until I bite the bullet and put tools and parts where they belong.....otherwise I'd have to build another bench  ::)

My partner said she can see the floor in those photos so it is very neat . I believe that a well organised shed that is clean with very little in it is a sign of a person with nothing to do .

Claiming the points back Tim as the " Garage Sale " sign wasn't mine.
I was storing it for a friend. ;)

Some of those photo's are dated and I've scored some more stuff since then ;D
The other thing is that the main shed is a 6 bayer so I was only showing a small sample. ::)
I have a small ride on road sweeper parked in the back left of that 2015 dated photo that I'll get going one day.

Mike, you have more clear floor space than I do. The picture below was taken about a month ago, but there were a few bike outside as I was trying to work in the DT100A on the bench. Now that they are all back inside I can barely squeeze my way in. I may have to lose the extra 20kg that I am carting around on me, as it will be easier than cleaning the shed!

Why do things the easy way, when with a bit of effort you can really make it difficult for yourself!!

Important to keep those little corners and alcoves sorted and neat , facilitating quick recovery of required items.

Unfortunately the proceeding areas that where photographed earlier, have now degenarated from their pictured tidy state, to somewhat of a umm mess. ::)
