Great news, the Dalby Moto Trailride series has returned to running under MQ/MA permits. Craig Hartley has just announced that the Series will again be sanctioned MQ/MA events.
Craig and Dalby Moto have been working hard to get a good result for riders and organisers of the rides, which started over 30 years ago at Bunya near Dalby. The Dalby Moto Series rides are all not for profit, non competitive events, with over 10,000 riders taking part in 16+rides each year, covering an area from Northern NSW to Central Qld,from out back plains to rainforest terrain. It is the largest Trail Ride series on the planet.
Craig and MQ have re modelled the Entry process, with a 2 sided,1 page entry form that can be downloaded,or filled in at the event.Riders with an MQ/MA race or rec licence will be able to use them for the event, riders without a licence can purchase an event licence as part of there entry(no seperate licence forms). This is a great step forward, with some rides having 1000+ riders, sign on was a big problem.
Keeping costs down has also been addressed, with entry costs similar to past rides(each ride sets there own)
