 Firko, MA have approved and published the Supp. Regs on their website so I reckon that's how it's gunna be run !

I have read the supp regs to. It would appear that MA wouldn't let the club dictate what tyres will be used. What I did find interesting is that it says machines must comply to the MA regulations got Dirt Track (not Classic Dirt Track).

Anyway as it stand neither rules ban any tyres other than steel studs and paddle tyres.

Clearly MA has told the Club they make the rules not the club.

I also like the idea of the Junior support classes.

The Supp. Regs do say Classic Dirt Track rules for Tyres, KTM47,

"26. TYRES
All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs for Classic Dirt Track competition (section 16).

And they say, "16.15.5 Tyres
16.15.5.1 Tyres must comply with the following:
a) Metal studs, spikes, chain, rope or
other non-skid attachments may
not be used unless permitted by the
relevant Supplementary Regulations.
b) Paddle or scoop treaded tyres may
not be fitted."

So, as you say, either rules say the same !

Just to set the record straight, for everybody. The 2015 Classic and Post Classic DT Titles at Temora will be run as per GCRs and the re-published Supp. Regs. for the meeting, there has been NO change in them since they were originally published.

That means NO oem wheel size rule and NO Trials tyre restriction, provided the wheels and tyres comply with the GCRs.

Obviously, wheels used must be of the era of the particular bike or replicas there-of.

I bought trials tyres for this meeting because of this thread.
What are the best legal wheels and tyres for this meeting and what will they cost?
I have Yamaha 1977 IT250D and IT400D.
