It's a true story, only the facts have been changed.

Never been outside, never been in the sun, but it has faded panels.  The bike seems to be in 5 shades of green.  Was this normal for these models?  For someone that craves this model, it would be a good pick up if it is all true.

I have bought NOS Kawasaki plastic parts for a 1980 KX80, there is a colour shade difference between the side covers and the front number plate. The side covers came from Europe (darker green, not unlike most early KDX KLX models)  and the front number plate (bright green like a modern KX) from New Zealand. Both lots are New Old Stock presumably stored indoors as they are not oxidised or faded, they just seem to be moulded in different shades of Green. I have had no other dealings with new Kwaka parts to compare with, but that is my simple observation on the colour anomally.
