So only 815mm total length? Sounds pretty short and is shorter than 250/370B forks. I was expecting them to be longer.

What is the travel on 125b Forks? (brochure spec usually includes compression of the rebound spring on top out)

Also are the 125B forks 35 or 36mm at the top triple clamp mounting area?

Probably measured without air  ;) 125B forks are preloaded down you have to add air and then measure them.

36 mm all the way up unlike 250/370 forks that are 35 mm at top and run no Air

Ok. will wait for revised measurements. The funny thing is that Zedder says the 250/370 and 125B use the same top triple clamp. So were they just stretched open to fit 36mm from the factory?. You would think if they were a true 36mm top clamp then suzuki would give the 125b clamp a different part number. Then again Zedder and alpha sports could be wrong :-\

Ok that makes sense

I was looking at this

Part # = 51411-41110
Part Description = STEM,STEERING
Model Count = 7
PE250B 1977 246 PE250 DUAL PURPOSE
RM125B 1977 123 RM125 OFF ROAD
RM250A 1976 246 RM250 OFF ROAD
RM250B 1977 246 RM250 OFF ROAD
RM250C 1978 246 RM250 OFF ROAD
RM370A 1976 372 RM370 OFF ROAD
RM370B 1977 372 RM370 OFF ROAD

but must of confused it with the top clamp (item numbers on those old fiche scans on alpha-sports are hard to read at times ;))

Has anyone else been able to measure the 125b forks fully inflated? I need to know how the length compares to the 250B forks
Thanks

A) - axle hole to top of alloy slider
B) - top of alloy to top of chrome leg

Luigi said 295 for A so i reckon that would be right though.

Thanks. So 845 total is 9 or10mm longer than 250/370 forks. They have 9.1" travel don't they? 250 has 8.6"
Is there an easy way to identify which are 125B forks and 125C forks to avoid buying C forks? There's usually some on ebay but it can be hard to know which are 77 or 78 as some sellers don't have stuff listed right. i know 250C2 has the taller fork caps which is an easy way to weed those ones out of the searching.

Don't worry, parts drawing is online and i have seen them but they are not really a good indication of what they look like in real world or the measurements.

Anyway what is the length of....

125C
250C1
250C2
(would assume 400C are same as 250C2)

i think with that info i would be able know what i am looking at. I have seen people sell later 78? forks claiming them to be RM370 but they have longer part below the axle and with all the fork swaps over the years it can be hard to know if what your buying is what the seller says it is or what you are looking for, so i just need to familiarize myself and get armed with the right info before dropping the dollars. Thanks.
