Hunter MCC R! sun 8th Feb
« on: January 28, 2015, 07:10:38 pm »
Hunter MCC is holding the  first round of dirt track pointscore for 2015 on Sunday the 8th of Feb.
All the ususal modern and junior classes, over 35's.
Vintage classes are pre78 open and pre85 open.
You can join the club on the day and I am sure its still only $40 seniors to ride as many classes as you like.
Juniors $20
Scrutineering finishes at 9.oo with racing starting at 10.00
Usual format is 2 rounds of long track and 2 rounds of the dirt track.
It would be great to see a few more old bikes and riders there this year to keep the vintage classes going.  ;D 8)

Classes are as follows (going from the last 2 seasons)
 Modern 450, 250 & open
Over 35's ride what you like modern or vintage all in
Pre 78 open
Pre 85 open
all the usual junior classes plus Demo's
Ladies

You can ride your evo in pre 85or both classes depending on what it is, last year we (all 5 of us) rode in both vintage classeswith whatever we rode, its pretty casual just depends on the number of riders in each class.
Just turn up and have some fun.

It looks like we will need a hand to tame the Jerkyls.  ;) ;D

Well I had a blast today meet some top blokes with open arms one even pushed my bike to the pits how goods that  ;)
It was a battle to keep up with turtles yellow rocket , Darren's black Betty and herbs flying xl500 and a bully bultaco . These guys were flying  ;)
My bike went well and handled better than I expected ,
I was a bit rusty in the first round , in the second round I went better just getting the hang of it not backing off on the corners takes a bit to get used to.
It Was a warm day ,  but seemed warmer when I got back to Cessnock , so wasn't that bad .
Can't wait till the next ride.
And hmcc for running a layed back and easy event to compete in .
