If you kiwi blokes need any reinforcement to those views, run through it with Peter Ploen : we had him here for the VMXWA 15th anniversary and he was stoked with the amount of pre-75 gear running round, and with the general enthusiasm.
And he won... 8)

Come to think of it we would probably be able field 100 bikes in pre75 for the nationals, plus 10 sidecars.  Wow a national title with sidecars

have you thought of the container option that we use to get bikes over.  It is a lot easier than people realise. Didn't you bring a truck over last time, sell space on the back for bikes.  Hopefully we'll have a date soon for you to work around

I have thought of the container option Bazza. I'd just like to find out how (if any) Victorians can commit to going. I had a hard time in 2015 convincing 2 others to come over. As it turned out, one pulled the pin deciding to fly over while Garry and I had to dig deeper into our pockets to cover his lost fuel input. I don't have the truck any longer as I gave up the bike transport anD didn't need it (or the extra rego and insurance) any more
Arrogance.....A way of life for the those that having nothing further to learn.

Gasp ! Well the local sidecar exponents that decline to travel east because they would only end up racing the same crews they race at club meetings all year would be out of an excuse there, and maybe they would turn out !

I believe John Selva is looking at coming over, start there, put something on the clubs websites it's about all I can suggest at the moment.  Send email to VMXWA see if anyone has one of those 4 stroking 2 strokes for you to ride

I'll give John a call....even if he did make me pay more for fuel last time  ::)

Mate, if you can line me up with any of those glorious CCM's you guys have so many of, I'd be rapt. Any Pre78 bike will do. I would prefer to bring my own weapons though.

Just spoke with John. He's in no way committing to anything this year. I think his quack might have him committed though....

Yeah, ya never know with CCM's. Just like a BSA, perfect one day, hassles the next.  :o

I have been thinking about a date.. what about we put to SCMCC to have the event on June 6/7.. June 8 is a public holiday in all other states.. so that will allow people to travel and not lose another day off work.. anyone interested could also come over early for the Dandaloo Classic at Narrogin on the long weekend (WA) 30/31 May..

see - that is what I mean  I heard October.  No idea when to confirm dates? - hope it isn't grand final weekend as I don't want to miss Collingwood winning again!
