I was visiting a fellow forum member on the w/end who was in the middle of cleaning out his bookshelf.
I made a comment that u can tell the psychie of some one from the books they read lol.
It was at this point I was handed a two hundred and twenty two page book titled Dave's not here Man, by Geoff Morris.
Now just the fact that Geoff had actually taken the time to actually write / print and publish a book had me curious as to its contents.
I was charged with the safe keeping of this book as apparently they rare as.
Today I spent 3hrs of my life taking a peek into the world of 2 mates, that rang of similarities of my own and probably most forum members living in the 70's onwards in the dirtbike scene, navigating dreams and reality.
It was a great read. The biggest laugh I got was about the "GMC stickers" and I am not sure if it was meant to be there, but after reading about the whole bargain affair on pg176, I turned to pg178 to find 1 of the actual stickers sitting there like a book mark. What a crack up
A highly recommended for 50yo+ readers
