Rm 100 crank gear and clutch in Rm 125
« on: December 09, 2014, 12:19:59 pm »
Just would lik to know if anyone here ever tried 79-80 Rm 100 crank gear and clutch basket on 79-80 Rm125. The only diference is Rm100 crank gear is 18T and Rm 125 is 19T. Rm100 clutch basket gear is 67T(same as 125) but diferent  tooth profile. The advantge of this swap would be  higher primary gearing ratio (RM 125- 3.52, RM 100-3.75) which may give the screaming 125 a litle more pull. Any thoughts/opinions?

Will increase torque to the clutch, shorten the gearing a bit but not much else. Far better ways of making a better 125 engine.
