For sale is my 1989 CR250 RK.
7.5hrs run time since full engine rebuild and restoration. The 7.5hrs has comprised 5 Singleton MC ride days, 1 Heaven Saturday practice at Bulladelah. I ran it in the Evo Challenges in 2012/13 at Lake Glenbawn when we had the combined Heaven/Pre 89 Club events (which convinced me to stick with 125's before I hurt myself!).
The restoration included:
Full top and bottom end rebuild by Steve Baylis in Bathurst - piston, rings, rod, top and bottom end bearings and seals.
Suspension by Terry Hay at Shock Treatment, Walacia.
Complete replacement of all frame and suspension linkage bearings and seals
New brake pads, chain (RK Gold), sprockets, tyres (Metzeler MC5's front and rear) - all now about 75%.
New Unifilter, grips (Progrip 801), chain roller (genuine Honda).
Overall the pipe is in good condition. One weld near the header to repair a crack and only a couple of minor dints. Muffler is a FMF Turbine Core.
Cosmetically the bike is pretty much original and in very good condition. Tank, shrouds, side plates, seat are all in very good condition. Rear fender is badly scraped as per photo.
