Plastics for YZ360
« on: November 01, 2014, 08:05:21 pm »
Hey guys. Need some plastics for my 360b. I got a set of DC for my mx250 and they were pretty average. Are there any other good options that you can recommend. I want the white not yellow.
Also any other good places to find parts for a resto to race not show condition.

Cheers

I bought my guards, front and rear, from VMX unlimited - both yellow and white ones I have (all very good actually I should mention).  Side panels, fibreglass, I bought from Prix Historic - but heard they may not be making them now - but $150US a set is EXPENSIVE!  Plus I have been trying to contact Extreme YZ for a while now about pipes for the 360 with no answer to all attempts????

XYZ Extremes plastic Gaurds are as close to NOS as you'll get, I ordered a set of white front and rear gaurds for a 1974 YZB and were delivered in about a week, perfectly moulded, correct lines & got the right gloss finish, which was what I've been tryin to find for a furk'n long time,Very impressed with em,  DC plastics are ok for a race bike but these are a cut above.

I tried Les first at VMX Unlimited ,top bloke and very helpfull ,I think i got the last rear that they had , which is also good ,but supplies of fronts have dried up.

XtremeYz is Scott Sears isn't it?  Still reckon $150US for side panels is expensive.
