Cheapest place to buy new Honda parts?

Can anyone suggest the cheapest place to buy new Honda spare parts?  Is there a discount mail-order warehouse or any dealer that will give a good discount?

Try a few Honda dealers in your area John and see who gives the best service & prices, I have found by the time you search for parts, pay for postage & waiting for the parts to arrive it works out a little dearer some times going with your local but so much easier & you will be keeping them in business as well , A good spare parts man will also be able to access the Honda dealer dead stock list for hard to get parts
I do not know of any discount shops as such but if you know part numbers for parts NLA, type only the part number including the dashes into google & see what comes up, I have found lots of parts that way

Yeh I don't have a 'local Honda dealer', where ever they come from is via Aust Post so it doessn't really matter which dealer.

Partzilla in the states have good prices and their shipping rates are very reasonable John. Our conversion rate has impacted a bit though...

     Plus all his Prices include Postage.
     Here's an example I needed a rocker gasket and RHS cover gasket
     and head gasket for my 85 xr250r and needed it strait away.
     I looked up Jono price $79.89 for a full rebuild Set every gasket and
     O ring needed to do a complete Motor Rebuild including  Postage.   
     But I did not have time to wait as I needed it by today Friday
     So I rang local Honda dealer and order it       $152. oo  So Flu#k Honda
     in Future..

So fluck Honda you say. Honda had your parts available for you when you needed them. Jono didn't.
If you kept brand new genuine thirty year old parts on your bench in the hope somebody would buy them wouldn't you want good coin for them as well. Honda are obviously doing something right. I would rather their bank balance than ol Jono's.

   only got a price off ebay . But I shall make sure I have a Full
   set or two in my work shop from Jono Now..

I was going to suggest that you need to keep sets of them as spares. Also pistons, rod kits, clutches etc. Expensive....not in the long run.

As mentioned above Elliott Bros in Bendigo is worth a try. If you call, ask for Noel, he is one of the original Elliotts, and has been doing Honda spare parts for 34 years. They have been Honda dealers since the 60's-under a different name, changed to Elliott bros in 1981- and have a lot of old XL, XR,CR, MT, CB  parts. Also as mentioned, ask him to check the Honda dead stock program. Also worth a try would be Scrivens in Kerang, another long time Honda dealer. Tim Scriven is the original owners son and now runs the place, and is always very helpful.

Look up Sea Serve or Hirotake Uchida on FB will get them direct from Japan to your door in 4 days if Honda has them in stock. Worked out half the price of buying local and 3 x faster
