There is no point talking about it here.  Do what the club in Victoria did RE the Post Classic Champs.  Put in an application from the Club.

If enough clubs in WA want it to occur get together and put in an application.

And if there is support from a club or better still several clubs in Victoria for Barrabool then stop procrastinating and do it.

The correct timeframe for putting in bids (expressions of interest) for Australian Championship has passed.  MA usually likes to have them in early in the year, over 12 months before so the Commissions can make a recommendation at their meetings each year in April/May.  So bids for 2016 are due early next year.  So really whoever puts a late one in now for 2015 unless, it is totally ridiculous should get it.

Having it at Barrabool makes sense, but unless the club running there want to run it, someone else has to.  The ideal scenario would be for several Victorian Classic MX clubs to get together and run it.  Does Motorcycling Vic have a Classic MX Committee/Sub Committee?  Maybe they could co-ordinate it.

Having a month of motorsport does sound good in theory but how many riders could afford to stay away for a month.  For most it is cheaper to fly in for each meeting.

The costs from over the west wouldn't change, flights, container.  It would only be the ccomodation and what the hell you would do in between weekends.  Would be a good way for me to start divorce proceeding!!!lol  It is a nice thought though.  maybe upgrade the caravan
