83 RM125 options
« on: September 22, 2014, 05:03:39 pm »
Looking at starting on my 83 RM125, really shouldn't be but that's another problem. Questions are should I use a cast or forged piston for just plugging around the paddock having fun? and are Mitaka rods any good as that is all I can find for that year model.

Dont put that junk in your 125.
I found 2 oem and 1 entire ProX kit on US ebay. ProX is good. Wiesco cranks are bad. I've never heard of Mitaka.

Mitaka will be OK so long as you don't tune it to the limit
