I'm not going to get into an argument about it here but I was very upset by the attitude from some about the watering, there was a huge firetruck spraying the most dusty corners, bloody hard not to expect a slippery corner when you got there!, the firefighters were dirtbike racers and had a good idea of what they were doing, I was also helping guide where they should water (although I wasn't with them when the above incident occurred).
It was hard to select exactly what sections of a corner to water when being hurried between races or while riders lapping the track. It's not as though the track was being watered on the up-ramp of a double jump just out of a corner! (which could be dangerous).
After the incident the VOLUNTEER firefighters had to be sweet-talked into staying and I nearly stopped helping for thinking that some loud-mouth would have a go at me if he didn't like what I was doing.
It was a piss-easy track, whether wet or dry, mature age riders have no excuse for not using their brain before opening their mouth. I'm not saying another word on the matter, you all know how I now feel.
