silver paint

Can anyone recommend a silver spraycan paint? I'm looking to paint an rl250 frame and the couple of silver options I've tried so far are too silver (beginning to look a lot like christmas) . I can't find an aluminium shade of paint anywhere.

White Night "Aluminium" Epoxy Enamel is what I use

Any of the wheel paints (silver wheels) sold in auto accessory shops are a good start.

you'll be surprised as to how un "christmas" the bike will look when you start to bolt other parts back onto it...
or you could go yellow...
it is a Suzuki after all...

Make sure to apply a good coat of clear over the top or the first time you wash it it will start to look a lot like yuk.

Tsk Tsk, if you have time to lean there is time to clean.  :o

It is competition silver Yamaha used on YZ's (78 79 80 81 swing arms) Ian. Is the early Yam silver your after the same as YZ A Tanks/guards? More of a silver grey.

Silver sheen by dulux is a perfect match for early suzuki engines like TS and RV - for what it is worth.

I can ask my tame spray painter neighbour what the paint code he used on my YZ arm is, it is very close to the low fleck silver (competition silver) he so graciously painted my swing arm in if you like.

Last can of White Knight "aluminium" I bought was a lovely shade of Houso Chrome. >:(
Complete rubbish.

Had a fair bit of luck with matching silvers by using the cans of colour matched paint from SuperCheap. More expensive, but seems just as durable (despite my fears).
