IT250/465/490 parts clear-out.
« on: July 05, 2008, 10:48:23 pm »
No 465/490 engine stuff!

H/J bits:

250J Frame - blasted and repainted (not a pro job, but better than the crusty 26yo paint!).
465H frame (has had rear loop cut off, needs some lovin').
Swing arms (1x 465H and 1x 250J).
Good 250 shock, unknown 465 shock.
38mm forks and triples from 465 (good chrome, IIRC).
Front wheel with OK knobby tyre.
465 rear wheel with crappy tyre.
250 rear wheel with rooted rim (good hub).
Seat (needs cover, but good base and foam).
465 tank (split on top... probably repairable).
Steel handlebars.
R brake plates (and 'ugly but functional' repaired front SLS brake plates).
Foot pegs with mounts.
Both axles.
Airbox.
Headlight (rough surround, but should scrape up OK).
Guards (rough).

Wow, I've just managed to make it all sound like a pile of shit...  :-[ Really, there's the making of a decent bike in there - just add a complete engine and side covers.

$250 for the lot.
Will seperate if there's no serious interest in the next few days (NB: Stuff like the 465 frame and tank are freebies - don't think that they're inflating the total price at all!).

K/L bits:
Heat damaged side cover from a IT250/490K+ (I forget which side... the exhaust side). $0
250K barrel with the skirt broken off. $0.
250K pipe (rough repair to header, but functional) $10.
250K shock (seems good). $50.
K+ seat - OK base, apparently OK foam. $10 if I haven't already given it to Hilly...
43mm forks and maybe triples (need to check on these).
TLS front brake plate. $45.

Bits are in Yass, NSW.
Postage no drama for the smaller bits. I can pack stuff up for a courier for the larger bits.
Can possibly deliver to Melb/Sydney/Vinduro for a contribution to fuel costs.

I've got most of a PW here for him (thanks to YZ360A), but it might a while off yet... like 18 months....  ;)

The stuff can stay here for a while... I'm mostly chasing the cash!  ;D

Hey Micheal. What Pe bits do you need? Ive got nearly 3 complete 250's and a 175 waitn to be restored. Ive got a few spare bits n pieces for the 250 as I can only get 1 excellent PE out of the three
Cheers

Wow, thread from the dead... sorry for being so slow on the uptake - I saw the thread but didn't even realise it was mine... :-[:D

Basically all of the H/J stuff has gone. I'll dob DG26 in as the buyer, because I suspect he'd be happy to off-load some of the stuff that's surplus to his requirements.

The K/L seat has gone, but I think the rest of it is still here. xl59 has got dibbs on the 43mm forks - I'll let you know if he doesn't want them.

TwoTs, its a later type brake plate. Alloy arms, horizontal lug.
