Video editing software
« on: August 27, 2014, 07:16:04 pm »
I'm looking for some video editing software so I can make something of my helmet-cam and video footage.

I have no idea where to start so if anyone can make some recommendations I would appreciate it

We have a new computer and it was built with bits to enable this sort of thing to be done (graphics card and high speed processor)

have a look at this http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-ReMaker.aspx

I have used the audio convertor from this mob and found it very easy to use, i also downloaded the Video package but have yet to use it.

Windows movie maker is good for editing and it comes free with windows 7
Handbrake for encoding to a smaller size file.

Good luck.

It helps if you can you tell us what the video camera formate is. MP4, AVI,others. Then it helps to know what you will be played on, tv, ipad etc.
Some of the better cameras have good software you can download from the manufacture. I use 3 various packages. The windows 7 software won't work with mp4. The others have good points and bad. One won't let you do your own start in. Do some googling after you work out which formate the video records in.
