What goes here?
« on: August 12, 2014, 07:50:13 am »
ive always wanted to know what attached to these points

the external one on the TS185 it seams is for the Down pipe  in the hop up kit to mount from.

The inner ones I wouldnt have a clue

The hop up kit does im told have a larger airbox  but Ive never seen one to see if it mounts here .Im hoping someone can cure my curiosity.

On the TS250, the downpipe mounts on the same side but it has a mount for something on the left side.
 What  are they for?

 cheers

Hard to tell from the pic, but that's where the battery box is on my 250.

Thanks for trying guys but no cigar. Tool pouch slips under the tank on a 185. Battery is under the seat too. That shot is from a pristine bike so thats how they were sold.

Thanks for the better pic, surely it is where the front of the muguard bolts to?

still no cigars being given out guys. inner guard sits a good 4 inches behind that point as in the first pic and mounts on the sides. Neither the TS or its brother the TC had centre stands.
ive been around these things from new and ive never seen anything there.

I guess the airbox mounts then ....... or they used the same frame for their monoshock version and that was where the top shock bracket bolted on.

Pokey I have a PDF of the early TS185 complete service manual, PM me an email address and I will try to send it to you. May help solve your dilemma. Tim754
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

thanks Tim, I already have one. odd place for a cleaner to mount as its well below the line of the carby and  the stock cleaner mounts from the top. again under the seat.
