have found one leaning against a mates house goes aparently but needs a brakes and suspention looking at and maybe clutch, was it might make a good project + swingarm looks cool
Are they any good ? felt a lot lighter than my old twin shock xr

most people will agree that the KLX was one of the sweetest handling bikes ever made and was also bleesed with excellent suspension, sounds great until you ride one and realise how slooooooooooooow they are !!!

Geraldo you pretty much nailed it there. I had one in 1980 and it was so slow that i put a big bore 300 kit in it, that made it go but then it started breaking gearboxes!

But with a few mods ( cam - exhaust - twig the timming a bit ) and they will kick arse

i wouldn't be able to over bore it much as then wouldnt be eligble for the sub 250 class and even as a 300 i'm sure it would just b silly against 500f and 250+2t especialy with me being so slow
it never ceases to amaze me how many new parts are still available for old dirt bikes oem shocks for these can aparently be bought for $300.98 us each not cheap but still
oldfart do you know who makes cams for these bikes ?
