72 WR 250
« on: June 29, 2014, 03:04:33 pm »
Hi, doing up a 72 WR 250 and I have a question. The exhaust pipe has hearts pressed into the chrome heat shields, does this mean the previous owner really loved their husky or is it an aftermarket pipe?

Cheers Mick.

Top marks Chilly. Really captured the spirit of the era. Are you going to enter some Vinduros? Jerry

Yep, love vinduro's. But will be using my trusty XR 200 :P. This husky is going in the house when complete :'(. The wife says it's too pretty to race.

So..are you going to source a WR tank....or...leave it with the motocross tank.. the CR tank would get a good price on eBay... :-*

I'll leave it as it is, I suspect a good WR tank would be hard to find. It's not restored as an original, the frame should be silver etc. but I'm happy with it.
