1954 Vincent Black Shadow
« on: June 29, 2014, 05:20:06 am »
This is your chance to own one of the most collectible bikes there is.

Matching numbers
Mainly original with mild restoration done by previous owner
Updated mikuni carbs but original Monoblock's included
Lot's more pics available
Bike runs and is rideable
Bike is in Canada
Ask questions and if I don't know the answers I will get them from my brother (he is the owner)

He just feels it is time to pass some of his collection on to other people

Not that its in my price bracket, but out of interest. What's the considered value of something like this these days?

In 99% of cases a spray is well deserved, in this case being such a rare and highly desirable bike it's a case that I accept no price disclosed to the whole world. It's one of those "if you have to ask you can't afford it" scenarios I believe. My question was a "just wondering" one so a vague answer is all I'd ever expect.

Cheers, Brendan

I thought if someone was seriously interested they would PM me and then I would put them in direct contact with my brother Don
to discuss the details ( i am just the messenger )
I can tell you that your guesses are on the high side probably $125 - $150 Canadian would take it unless the Vincent community starts a bidding war for it as they don't come available very often.
He also has an original 65 GTO 389 Tripower 4 speed convertible up for sale if there are any muscle car collectors on here, I will put a pic of it up later for anyone interested.
