Fairly common puller, can't remember size but this link should help with other bikes that use the same puller
The puller for my TY250 is also meant to my YZ465 which uses the same part number for the puller as the YZ250H, thread size is M27 x 1.0 lefthand

Far cheaper to buy from the UK than off ebay locally, mine cost about 8pounds plus postage where the local listings are $39 plus post

just to put the cat amongst the pigeons before sleep time, i thought the 250H had a small rotor as opposed to a full flywheel, so looked it thhis link [if it works].

onhttp://www.internationalmotoparts.com/oemparts/a/yam/50042116f8700209bc7870e3/cdi-magneto-yz250h

did it twice cos it looked wrong & a bit different both times. anyway--if small rotor its a smaller RH thread puller that the buts up to the crank before running out of thread in flywheel, bit of a tighten and then a smack & it'll be off. The full flywheel [like 465/490] has the lefthand thread larger puller & is was probably the most used flywheel puller at work back in the days as it fitted everything through the Yam twostroke range from V50 scooters to my RT1 plus fitted Honda 50's & the like. only honda 50 it didn't fit was the P50 [pushbike with motor in hub] which had a smaller version [& had an alloy camshaft with piss weak valve springs]. Anyway--gettin right off track, sorry. Where was i--fk i dunno, umm yeah if you use the reverse thread puller then make sure you take out the flat & spring washers so the puller can screw right home or you'll pay for it in the end [as i did], & sometimes you may 'think' it's right home but the puller centre bolt had run into the crank before fully home--so back that right off first. Found an image of what should be the right simple type puller for small rotor. Hope these links work as bit of guess work on my behalf. Nite.

Most bike shops sell "Motion Pro" tools, they do it, go to your local yam dealer, I would be surprised if they did not have it in stock.

just one more thing. I have a short & long version of these pullers, think short was YZ80 [say 80H] anyway, depending on how much crank is sticking out or someone might've shortened the end to [i dunno] clean up a damaged end say, then you just might have to drop a nut or something down the puller hole top make sure it touches crank before running outa thread in the rotor. been caught out by all those tricks.
Worst thing i ever did when i was very young [that won't be right lol] was on my BSA M20, the crank end thread appeared through the side of the 'tin' primary case--so i cut it off [well it was buggering my shoe], found out shortly after that someone had only put one main bearing on that side [the outer one] & it all moved over till the crank pin nut was carving the case out. Loved that old bike, put 'gold star' scramble cams in & revers come mege made out of headlight brackets back to back & she'd do '70' [no, mph-not k's], actually went slower with the 'go fast' cams lol.--had a Mikuni too.
