Who on here would support a pre 70, pre 65 club level meeting only, and would the riders that own these type of bikes outside of the forum would they support it too, if there was a one off meeting
ran here in victoria and the heaven club are also trying to get a similar meeting off the ground too.

There is an event similar to your suggestion, it's called the Australian Classic Championship. Put on a good meet and we'll come

What I am thinking is, at club level, riders that own this era of machines are not using them, and pre 65 bikes your lucky to get 3 or none on the starting grid.  and if there was a none race meeting
held only for pre 70 era to 60`s if may tis them out for a day.

I think it would be well supported but only if it was done outside of MA.
I have a Pre65 AJS Metisse that I have been restoring for a while and even if I ever finish it is unlikely to ever see the track at an MA meeting. Main issues, doesn't have folding footrests, no provisions for the ridiculous rear sprocket cover, no provision on mag for kill switch and other things that I haven't thought off.
So without butchering the bike it would never get through scrut so why would I even bother.

At club level ride days, thats ok.

Sleepy, unless you are using the AJ for speedway..you don't need a kill switch.. so..one step closer to bring the old girl out..  ;D

I would like to see and be in the same paddock with just pre 70 bikes, pre 65 bikes only.

Not for speedway use. You must have a different rule book to me. The one I have (2013) still has all disiplines having kill switches but speedway has to have a lanyard kill. MX will probably be next with the lanyard after the legends at MA decided that trials bikes were so dangerous they needed the lanyards.
