This is straight from the Husqvarna 1982 racing handbook for 1982 CR250, (handy little thing it is too).
Type: Mikuni
Vebturi: 38
Main jet: 410
Needle jet: R-4
Idling jet: 45
Needle position: #4
Air jet: 2.0
Throttle: 2.0
Needle: 6DH20
Air screw opening: 1.5 from bottom position
Cheers,
K

I have had a good ride on the bike a couple of times now and it just seems off a bit in the low mid range.
The top end seems ok to me.
This is whats in the carb at the moment.
Idle jet 45
Needle 6f16
Needle jet says .166 then a symbol p6 and the 6 has been overwritten with an 8
Main jet 440

Is that lots different from the factory recommendations?
I am just learning this stuff..

Also carnt see the recommended 6DH20 in my mikuni tuning manual.
Can you still get them or something to replace them?

Often a slide with a bigger cutaway can clean the huskies up in the transition from low to midrange :)

Try a 2.5 slide (if it has the 2.0 in it). I have one you can try. I just used a 6DH22 (I found it amongst my Mikuni stuff), not listed in any of the charts I have either. A bit longer & slightly leaner than a 6DH3.

Finally had a chance to get the bike to the track today.
Ended up jetting it to the factory handbook recommendations as per Big K's post.
Fitted the 2.5 slide as well.
Bike is heaps better certainly not perfect but happy with the results.
