Retro/Norths, Dargle 1-6-14

Was a good day - big thanks to the Baulkham Hills and Northern Districts people who made it happen.

Good, fun grass track. Good-but-not-great turn out of old bikes due to a few of the regulars having real life get in the way.

Random highlights:
New bloke on an ugly 89 CR250 being right up the front;
Kiwi's accent;
Mini-Middo coming to terms with the C&J XR500. Still not happy that he overtook me in the second race :) - then again, the Middos swapped bikes for the last race and last I saw was the young bloke giving his old man a very hard time;
Ando doing his best to take out half the field in the first turn;
Telling Marty to not take a particular line because it is crap - and then seeing him having an unscheduled lay-down on that particular line...

I also rode my 93 CR125 in the O30s races. It was fun. I think I managed to get in the top half of the field in the second race, which made me happy.
Had an amusing moment when I laid it down (front end washout), and was watching the bike slide away from me - looked like someone else's helmet cam blooper tape.

Good fun, got me enthused about MX again.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
