Sounds fantastic!
El Presidente was over the moon with the course. ( yep just like a cow) though I did hear he fell over a lot,.... just resting apparently :)

90 Klm if you go the right way, goodness knows how long it will really be! :) maybe the farm animals won't be as hungry on the new properties and leave the arrows up?

90km loop - is there any possibility of completing more than one loop?

Yes. In fact the plan is for everyone to do one loop on Saturday, and then one or two on Sunday.

The course will be fast and flowing on spectacular land. This event will be as good as it gets in respect to vinduro. (90kM on fabulous trails per loop)

If we have large amounts of rain the course can be completed with out having to cross the river at ground level. This is the distinct advantage of having the red plate , UVP and full rego scheme in place for some of the VERi events.

It will be "Easy" to get one lap in on Saturday afternoon and familiarise yourself with the course.

Average riders will get two laps in on Sunday.

I would expect fast riders will sneak in three.

Details for our red plate rego is available on the VERi website.

Unregistered vehicle permit for your bike will require the following.

Working headlight

Working tail light

Working brake light

Working horn ( bicycle horn is acceptable)

A rear vision mirror

There are numerous ways to achieve the working lights scenario and there is plenty of time to do so prior to release of the entry form.

Quite muffler is required and desirable

VERi will be releasing the entry  for the Harrow event on July 1st 2014. The entry form will include the application for the UVP.

Keep an eye out on the VERi site

It is recommended that if you require a UVP ,  complete the UVP and entry form immediately and send it back to us immediately

We will submit all the UVP applications to VIC roads at the same time.(It takes approximately 3 weeks for VIC roads to process the UVP's..) , so its obvious that being proactive and completing your application for a UVP is essential.

"UVP applications and approvals cannot be done on the day of the actual event"

If there are any further questions relating to UVP's ,jump on the VERi site ,email the club , email me via a PM on this site or call me 0409 810 551 , i would be very pleased to assist you with your enquiry.

Those people who make application for the UVP , your bikes will be scrutineered at the Harrow event prior to you being issued with UVP  paperwork, so please make sure your bike is compliant. "Under no circumstances will a non compliant vehicle be acceptable"

A 270/360km Vinduro sounds fantastic!
TBH, I was worried that it would be one loop affair - it's a bloody long way to drive to do 90km of riding, but that sounds like it won't be an issue at all. :)

Now to sort out a bike...

Not up to speed on rego requirements. What rego suffices for this event?

Cheers

I terms of Red Plate rego for those riders from outside of Victoria .

Unless the bike you are considering for red plate rego resides in Victoria the best option would be UVP.

You can also have full registration from the State in which you reside. At the BBB event I noticed a number of bikes with full registration

Call me Ted and I will explain.

Your IT looks like it would be compliant with the requirements for the UVP

hey guys, will it be like a red plate ride with a trail boss and sweeps or will be like the old harrow event with bikes let off every minute and left to their navigation skills (don't look at me for directions.. ;D.)

Harrow will be the traditional start with 3 every minute.

UVP form for Harrow is now on the VERi website for anyone that wants to get their paperwork in early.

Entry form will be up in a couple of weeks

We at VERi currently provide red plate rego or UVP.

Full rego , red plate or UVP for this event.

If you can get rec. rego for yourself and rec. rego meets the requirements of the above you can use that

Working headlight

Working tail light

Working brake light

Working horn ( bicycle horn is acceptable)

A rear vision mirror

Quite muffler is required and desirable
