Final Course set out for Harrow Vinduro now complete
« on: May 31, 2014, 11:18:18 am »
Media release
31 May 2014

VERi President Steve Baker, and Rob Shoemark (Media & Promotion) have just completed the final course set out for the upcoming Harrow Vinduro on the last weekend of July.

The course will run through seven properties and will be approximately 90 kms long, with a fuel dump at the half way mark for a splash and dash back to the finish.

Rob noted that, "The course is running through some of the most spectacular farmland you will ever encounter."

"For those of you sitting on the fence about getting your bike registered in some form - don't! You will be kicking yourself if you miss this one," said Steve.

The course is suitable for beginners as well as experts. With the change of format this year the problem of the Glenelg River in bad weather has also been addressed.

Stay tuned for more details, and keep checking the VERi website – www.verivinduro.com.au

Not up to speed on rego requirements. What rego suffices for this event?

Full rego or classic permit (a.k.a. "red plate). Recreational rego is not suitable.

You can also organise an Unregistered Vehicle Permit through VERi.

This is what needed to be filled out for Hopetoun (will have the form for Beaufort Vinduro up soon)
http://www.verivinduro.com.au/66/hopetoun-unregistered-vehicle-permit/

Also for the UVP bikes need to have a...
Working headlight, tail light and brake light
Horn & mirror

Several guys took advantage of this for this weekend and so Hopetoun will have an RM 400 and a KX 450 among others riding down its main street

90km loop - is there any possibility of completing more than one loop?
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Now that they have sorted out the river crossing there is a good chance you may complete one loop ;D
