were a weapon in the day, pipy motor, (sachs engine) I always thought they were great. I followed one in my first Erica enduro and the rider saved my bacon so many times showing great lines etc but like all euro bikes the owner was frantically trying to coax a dim glow from the lights to avoid a 20 point penalty ;D >:(

Hmm .. a mate of mine had one back in the day .. the worst bike I have ever laid eyes on.  Was always breaking down .. always .. often the ignition failed.  And when it was running, it was slow and heavy.

The only upside was the 12 speed gearbox .. first, neutral, second, neutral, third, neutral etc etc

I'll never forget the sound of him riding it through the Barny forest .. the scream of the little sachs motor as he revved it out, hit neutral, found the next gear and revved it out again, then hit neutral again etc etc

Got one .
Revs like a banshee , sounds great and goes ok too.
Yep they can have extra neutrals , but with the correct setup and a positive shift action no problem.
Don't forget the competition back then.
If it,s priced ok then buy it , though the tank will have to come from the US.
Only about 14 in Aus apparently.

I have the enduro model, rode it at Harrow last year. Can still get lots of parts for them, the hardest things to find will be the tank and seat. So far mine has been very reliable and a lot of fun.
