Hi Supersenior, The name is Ken Baker from Melbourne, I met you at The Nats at QMX Park, we had the Maico that had suspension troubles and couldnt race, my sons name is Shaun. Looking to make another road trip to Harrisville in June, I have a few questions, would it be best to phone you and have a chat ? If you could send a personal message with details I will give you a call.

Thanks Ken Baker

Sup Regs out in a day or so
Anyone coming for the Qld titles or Classic Dirt, why not do both?
Bikes, trailers, vans etc can be left in my gated compound (I'll even wash it for you), or at the homestead at the track, for the days in between the two events.

Didn't they only just run the Qld Champs? You know, at the Supercross track  ;-)

No it was the Maxima/BOLT Australian Post Classic Motocross Championships.  MA (not MQ) were the RCB so it was an Australian Championship.

If you want it run in Victoria next year get someone in Victoria to apply to run it????

Sorry Col I shouldn't respond to this.

If you or Greg need a hand with anything RE Lucas Oils Qld Post Classic & Classic Championships give me a call.

Too far for me to go just to let the locals clean-up a title.

There were plenty of NSW riders in the mix and a couple of Victorians...
Best you guys down there get it sorted and run one then.

Why "best"?  I'm sure something will be run down here in the future.  I guess you guys are lucky to have a lot of riders up there, maybe the weather or a good history with an abundance of bikes? Maybe if we combine classic & post-classic we could put something together easier?  I still wouldn't expect you guys to come all the way down here, although I guess a few of you did for the Classic Champs in 2010.

I believe a National Championship should be run in at least two central states for it to be fair and a true account of riding caliber, not wanting to take anything away from this years winners, I'm sure they'd win down here, here we might be able to keep them insight  ;-)

Anyway we have got off-thread, sorry.

You've said this on numerous occasions.
But you've also said the one just held is too far to go. Why would you want to run two when you and the majority wouldn't go to both or even one? One is almost too many!

John,
You don't need to travel to Qld to have a shot at a state title. You only need to come to just north of Sydney.

Although we don't call ours a state title it is widely regarded as the best against the best with all comers welcome.

For Pre 78 we have the CRC ( Crawford River Cup ) which is a all capacity grass track meet run on the Saturday. Two races with the best pointscore taking home the perpetual Ray Ryan Memorial Trophy for one year.

For Pre 90 we have the Evo Challenge run on a full blown motocross track. This race is two 15 minute motos for Evo 125,250,500 Pre 85 125,250,500 Pre 90 125,250,500

With both these meets you get to ride not only the Trophy races but also the normal club round capacity races ranging from Pre 65 to Pre 90 the next day.

Lots of riding for a fraction of the cost of a Nats meet.
