Painting Kevlar

Has anyone out there had experience with painting Kevlar?
I've just bought a fuel tank made of the stuff and wondered if there's anything special I need to know before giving it a tidy up.
FWIW I've never painted in 2 pac, so it would just be an acrylic.

No drama Tony apart from the prep. If you sand into the fabric it will fuzz up like an Echidnas pubes and you wont be able to get rid of them. If the surface looks a bit thin over the fabric, flow a coat of FG resin or Gelcoat over the top so you have a stable surface to work with.
