1980 HUSKY OR250
« on: April 09, 2014, 09:35:22 am »
A mate is selling his 1980 OR250 Husky that he imported from the States and did up. It's a lovely bike. The ebay number is  331172637344. A very rare model here.

Yes a beautiful bike John. I've not heard of an OR before.  Is an OR a cross between a CR motocrosser and a WR Enduro bike?

IMHO the 1980 model husky was one of the best, certainly one of my favourites.

The OR gear box is particularly good and is very good for enduro and MX more so than the WR ,I have a 1980 390 and its a fab. thing to ride . The 250 that is advertised would be a beaut ride especially for a tall guy.

Good luck with the sale as its a great dual purpose offroad machine. If i wasnt in the middle of purchasing something else i would buy it in a heart beat.

It would probably cost 5 figures to get it to that standard. It is a very good model as Shoey says. It is very rare. Wouldn't matter how much you paid for it, you would have a very rare, collectible bike. It truly is a beautiful machine.
