1982 KX250 Info
« on: March 24, 2014, 09:48:26 am »
I have a fella offering an 82 KX250 on part trade for the 89 KX 250 I picked up. Although the 89 is cool, in the end when its all said and done I would be putting anther $1500 or so in parts into it. So if I can pick up the 82 which being air cooled fits in better into my collection and the extra cash he puts in will help my other projects along.
As I don't know a lot about the Kawi's of that era looking for input...I have to admit I think the number plates on the rear fender are quite cool.

Cheers, Chris

I have a project '82 KX250 if you need spares or parts. It's 85% complete with a fresh engine, powder coated frame etc. There is also a spare engine, a few extra plastics& a couple of swingarms. I'll never get around to finishing it so it can go if someone wants it.

Thanks Bigk, Ya I know how that happened, I have a CB750F I am working on along with an XS650 streettracker that keeps getting put to the back of the line. Good news is My YZ250H is just waiting for a new front number plate then its all done.

1982 KX250B1. The bike is very unique as most of the parts are specific for that year only and not interchangable with any other year KX. This can make finding good or new OEM parts verrrry interesting. Great bike though. Love mine.
What info do you need?
