A couple of sliders were there, put in with the pre 70s, Great race! Phils, Jawa battle against  the Bandito! No probs, no crossed lines, unfortunately the other slider had ign. lead probs.
Darrel Butler keepin' 'em in line!

That newly built up four valve jawa slider unfortunately had teething probs and didn't finish a lap unfortunately, while Phil Gibsons old Jawa was back to its old self and was well on song.

Phil had a great dice against the Bultaco which was being ridden with fierce determination. I couldn't pick who got the checkered flag in the second round. I left straight after that.Don't know if they got a third run.
There was a lot of riders and plenty of spectators to witness a good days racing, in a relaxed sort of day.
Dirt track looking pretty strong out this way. Hopefully I'll be back into it by mid year.
cheers pancho.

Another great days racin' with full grids in most classes, after a sunny start the rain came and went and came back turning the track to a mud pit, lost a couple of races and quite a few racked the cue early as they were not too keen for the slop.
Jim dodged a bullet when the triumph's rear wheel collapsed but he managed to pull it up ( should I say it pulled him up) without any drama.
The modern finals were a great spectacle even in the conditions with the sheep stations on every riders wish list.
Bring on the next event!  ;D

By the way, as a lot have been saying, the slider-chookie combo didn't raise any difficulties on the day, perhaps we can expect to see sliders eased back into the capacity and era events. Maybe some less experienced riders might need to be made aware of the various lines into corners that are available to all.
cheers.

Noticed a couple of sliders in a certain blokes shed last week, won't ride em cause he is worried about embarresing himself!

What a sook.

The slider and the red "Jircles" bully was a great battle so were are all these sliders.  ???
