I don't think anyone will cover you for racing , classed as high risk sport
It was talked on here a while back , good luck or say you broke your leg at work ;D

A good investment if you can still get it, mine only just managed to help me get through 4 months off work a couple of years ago but the shit woulda hit the fan big time if I hadn't have had it.
I'm interested to hear how you get on Lama.

The old Combined Insrance Company of America looked after me really well with three months full pay back in 1963. (broken scafoid per Arcadia). Are the still around?
Other than that what exclusions are on "Income Insurance"?

If you lived in Victoria and raced a bike that also had a red plate I wonder if TAC would cover it I would think they would have to.

Combined is the only name that seems to come up regularly.

Live in Unzud its free in your general tax take= all  medical and 80% of your wage, boss pays 100% of first week

The way it should be.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Combined were covering Dave the Suzuki stunt rider that competes at Connondale, They had reps there 3 years ago, not sure if they are still around though, they were not too good at following up from leads at the that meet, am still waiting for the call back from the rep that didn't turn up to my sign up appointment.

Would be good though, as it was pretty good value from memory.

Cheers

Combined don't cover racing any more. Not even a non competitive club event.

I'm with combined, and they've been doing it for a long time, it's a shame if they have dropped it, the amount we pay MA, there insurance should cover us for some sort of benefit other than Parellasis and death thieving barstards.....

Racing dirt bikes with old bodies .....what could possibly go wrong  ::) If I ran an insurance company I
wouldn't insure myself. It's the same with insuring the bikes we ride.

The premiums are based on the likelihood of a claim and the benefit pay out. It is too small a market for the insurance companies to bother competing over so they have pulled out. Sometimes we just have to manage the risk ourselves - accept it and don't give a toss, race less frequently, don't race but go non competitive riding, give up and sit on the couch....
