I have stumbled across a KTM 400 enduro which I would like to restore and race in the pre 78 class. The problem I have is determining if it is a 77 or 78 model, I will get some pictures in a few weeks but was hoping to work it out before my next visit so I have an idea how much I want to pay for it.
All the pictures I have found that look similar are of the MC5 MX bikes.
If anyone can offer some tips on identifying these models it would be greatly appreciated.
