'88 Kickstarter.

I posted this in the Honda section also. I'm looking for an alternative to the std "88 CR500 kickstarter. They have stopped production and are rare as hens teeth. Has anyone tried a later "Low Boy" type kickstarter with a high pipe?

Is it just the knuckle that needs replaceing , the bit that goes on the spline? You maybe able to to buy a new knuckle from a newer model and then fit the old leg onto the new knuckle. You can bore out the hole in the leg and rebush if its floppy.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

The knuckle is steel with minimal wear. The arm is aluminium and yes a bush is an option. Thanks for the reply.
