HELP WITH VELO ID PLEASE

Can any of you Brit bike boffins help me out with knowing exactly what this is?? I'm told a 47 but what I can research it doesn't quite fit to be 47??

is a 1946 MAC 350cc, 1946 engine numbers  starts from 8001, ends to 10050, included WD models MAF & MDD

Dam fine ride that bike - have a 53 myself and they are quirky but very good machines.
Join the Velo club, there is a mountain of info and a great spares scheme available

I started Short Circuit on a rigid Mac Velo, bronze TT carb, on alky, John Bull Deep Grip tyres, went like a dog shot in the bum, wish I still had it !!, Just remembered, mine had Tele forks, Doughty Oleomatic ????

Yes they certainly are quirky. Velo liked to do things different ways to other brit manufacturers.
