AMA/World Championship Supercross San Diego
« on: February 10, 2014, 04:50:31 pm »
Chad was looking good for fourth or maybe third then bang he runs into Roczen rear wheel in the whoops after Roczen was baulked by a lapper.  No ones fault the lap riders can't just disappear.

Chad has three broken bones but He's still talking about racing at Dallas next week.

Still third in points -15 from Vilopoto and Roczen.

Cycle news has it as (After his second hospital visit, Reed had some news to report on his condition. Unfortunately it was not great news – the broken scapula, collarbone, and T1 vertebrae).

Not good but he closed with saying he plans to there in 6 days.

He is I tuff guy and a credit to Australia. Now who will get all the coverage on the nightly news, One of the best ever Australian sports personalities or a convicted drug smuggler???

Chad is one tough ombre' all right. You know he is seriously hurt when he stays down. I'm sure he will try his best to be on the start line for Dallas. He's ridden through injury before, and won a championship with a crook shoulder.

Since when does the Media news give a toss about MX, even though Chad Reed is one of the best and highest paid sportspeople in Australia.

Hopefully Chad has recovered enough to race the next round in Dallas, but I'm sure no one expects him to race if He is seriously risking further injury.

We all know you will do your best Chad, so best of luck.

Yeah, I hope he is right to get to Dallas BUT I'd hate for him to risk any further injury to an already suspect shoulder and back. Chad has sent a clear message to his doubters and has proved he still has what it takes to be consistently at the pointy end of Supercross.
I have a funny feeling he will be at the start gate regardless. He has his hunger and determination back.
