Carbon fibre clutch plates

Has anyone tried carbon fibre clutch plates? I'm putting a new clutch in my 125 and have a friend with a new set of cf plates to suit sitting around. I have not had anything to do with them, do they last/ have a good feel etc? I don't want to install them to save a few bucks and regret it.

There OK, and as Mick has noticed they seem to turn gearbox oil darkish. Perhaps you just got to put extra salt and seasoning on them.
