Island classic

Not strictly vmx but classic all the same. Just got back from the international challenge at the Island. Nothing quite like seeing guys like Cam Donald, John Guinness, Shawn Giles, Lapping the circuit in the 1:38s on classic bikes! Great day out..

Just back myself a awesome racing at a awesome event looked like there was about 5000 spectators there, cars lined the tracknearly all the way round. Robbie Phillis had a big off and totalled a brand new bike  :'( All the Challenge races were crackers

The Maico is Greg Delsanto's , Greg actualy had a converted KX500 in 91. The Husky is a 390
Interested to know what the last of the monoshock TZ350's sell for.

Spent a bit of time in the US pit they had 4 TZ750's ;D

all good macca,ex valve behaved itself bigtime,went back in the van a runner,pity i can't say the same for the CB350,r/h pair of valves argued over who should close 1st,(on inspection,apparently neither :o),bloody honda civic valves  >:(, :P

Didn`t even look at a bike over the Xmas/ New year Hols, still got dirty bikes from last year!!  Island Classic Was Great,just the spark I needed to get me Going this Year, ordered Tyres for the TZ 350 project, entry in today for the Canberra Dirtrack, time to get the calender sorted.
